Each year, Kinetic Credit Union presents the Ronald J. Mahoney Kinetic Scholarship to two deserving high school seniors. This scholarship honors former board member Ronald J. Mahoney, who dedicated a part of his life to serve the needs of Kinetic Credit Union. Mr. Mahoney was committed to excellence and service, as demonstrated by his dedication to our credit union and community projects.
The two 2018 recipients are Alexis Grier from Smiths Station High School and Curtis Walker, Jr. of Columbus High School. Alexis will be attending Auburn University with plans to major in Human Development and Family Studies. Curtis plans to attend Columbus State University and major in English with a minor in Political Science. Each recipient received a scholarship for $2,500. The winners were chosen for demonstrating their commitment to excellence and service in academic studies and community involvement.
